The Division of Endocrinology at The Hospital for Sick Children offers a complete range of services for the evaluation and treatment of children with the following conditions:
Type 1 diabetes mellitus
Type 2 diabetes mellitus
Growth disorders
Pubertal disorders
Thyroid dysfunction
Adrenal dysfunction
Sexual differentiation disorders
Disorders of calcium regulation
Hypoglycemia
Our team consists of eight full-time paediatric endocrinologists and a full multidisciplinary team of diabetes nurse educators, endocrinology nurses, dieticians, social worker and psychologists.
The Division is very active in many research endeavors in both diabetes and endocrinology and the Division has a Subspecialty Fellowship Training Program that is fully accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
